Announcing our latest product: Keyword Sniffer

CSEO Keywords Sniffer is now available in your client area

The CommunitySEO Keywords Sniffer is a standalone script (it is not specific to IPB in any way) that you can include on any page of your site to monitor incoming requests. When a user visits and the script detects they visited from a search engine results page, the script logs the keywords used and the page they reached.

You can use this data for analytical and tracking purposes, however that's not all!

The script includes a simple function you can call that will generate a tag cloud utilizing the keywords sniffed out. The tags link to a "tags search results" page (template is fully editable) showing all pages on your site that have had logged incoming requests using that keyword.

This script is great in that it takes what is already "strong" keywords for your site (keywords already being used to reach your site through search engine results) and then places them visibly on your page as tags, further strengthening their weight.

Yet another product coming

We have another product coming out shortly.
As usual, all existing CSEO customers will get a discount.

Without saying to much, This mod has drastically increased search engine traffic in the tests we have done.
Its a modification that works across your forum AND website.

But to get you guys excited, check out this progress on a test site we launched for a 30 day test. We chose a site in existence for many years, that has not been changed, as to not get any possibility for a skewed result.

Before this test, the site averaged a very flat 500-1k uniques a day, for the last several years.
No promotion or other SEO work was done, only the addition of this mod.

The mod was installed ~May 10th - I included traffic stats for April as well, so you can see how traffic fluctuates normally.

So to summarize, traffic tripled in ~30 days.

CSEO Tagging Module 1.0.1 Released

This update resolves an issue with CommunitySEO 1.2.2 tag rewriting where multi-word tags cause an infinite redirect loop.

No other updates are included with this release.

To upgrade, please upload cseo_tagging.php, and the resources and sources folders. Afterwards, run the install.php file to insert the updated skin templates. That is all that should be required.

CommunitySEO 1.2.2 Released

We are pleased to announce the release of CommunitySEO 1.2.2

1.2.2 is available in your client area by downloading the main package.

1.2.2 adds rewrite support for IP.Blog 1.4.0 and for CSEO Tagging Module version 1.

To upgrade, simply download the package from your client area and reupload ipb_seo.php and the .htaccess file (or manually add the changes for the tagging module, which you can find in the file by searching for "Tagging").

CSEO Tagging Module (Final) is now available in your client area

The CommunitySEO Tagging Module is a flexible tagging system for your Invision Power Board. The module allows you to tag anything - instructions are provided to add the module to forum pages, topic pages, and even individual posts. You can add the module to any or all of these individual areas, and you can even add our tagging module to your custom third party components.

You only need to make one file edit (to enable "" IPB skin tags in init.php) and the rest of the module is inserted and executed through the skin templates. No need to worry about maintaining file edits through IPB updates!

Tag system on/off
Which groups can add tags
Which groups can edit own tags
Which groups can edit any tags
Which groups can remove own tags
Which groups can remove any tags
Add tags anywhere, or only on your own stuff
Add tags freely or from preset tag list

To upgrade from beta 1 or RC 1, simply reupload the included files. If you are upgrading from beta 1 reapply the edit to Topic View -> topic_page_top from the notes.txt file included with the package.

Beta testing is moving right along. This release fixes a couple of reported bugs and should be considered stable

Non-latin characters not accepted in tags (i.e. diacritics)
Adding a tag in Internet Explorer redirects you to the AJAX page with an error after the tag is added
Inserting the provided HTML skin code causes an SQL error in threaded topic view mode

To upgrade, simply reupload the included files, and then reapply the edit to Topic View -> topic_page_top from the notes.txt file included with the package.

CSEO Tagging Module Beta 1 Released!

We're pleased to bring you CSEO Tagging Module by CommunitySEO

That's right, we've finally got beta 1 of our tagging module ready to go. You can see it online at this site, and we've added a new page for it on our main site: http://communityseo.com/Tagging_Invision_ipb.htm . This page explains the main features and shows a couple of screenshots of the tagging module.

Some general information...

We haven't necessarily finalized license or price, but as it stands we intend to sell the module for $40 USD, providing a perpetual updates license. Support will be provided for 6 months with your purchase. (We haven't worked out support renewal costs, but as you can imagine they'd be pretty low).

Now for some good news...in our efforts to take care of our loyal customers, we are providing a copy of this software for free to anyone who holds a current CommunitySEO license. From now until the final release of our tagging module, if you own a CommunitySEO license *(or purchase one!) and submit a ticket requesting a license for our tagging module, we will add one for you at no cost. This is just a little thank you to show all our current customers how much we appreciate your support.

We are pleased to announce that communityseo.com is now running 1.2.0 BETA.

We have not yet released 1.2.0 for others to test, as we'd like to have it run on our servers for a couple of days first to make sure no major bugs crop up. We will likely release 1.2.0 early this coming week.
