Could CSEO be made so that it doesn't use any encoded program?

Because, i whant to buy CSEO, but my host doesn't offer, and don't whant to install any encoded .so so that the mod would work, is there anyway to release CSEO so that it won't ioncube etc but still you guys can hide your code?

CSEO uses ioncube and you really do not have to install the loader to actually use it. Just set it up in the main www folder of your account and it will take care of the rest. Further clarifications from admin biggrin.gif

Yes, ioncube will typically run without your host needing to intervene - you upload the loaders into one of your folders (i.e. your root public_html directory) and the loader will get dynamically loaded at runtime.

I'm afraid we will not be releasing an unencoded copy of CommunitySEO anytime in the near future. There is no way to hide the code outside of source code-encryption.

Many people don't, in honesty. However, people that know PHP often like to see PHP source code for many reasons - they can tweak areas to their tastes, or to run better than by default (as much as developers don't like to admit it, there is always room for improvement). They can customize the code to do similar or related tasks (i.e. rewrite other links in addition to what we do by default). There are a lot of reasons people like to see the source code.

Unfortunately, however, we've already spotted sites trying to warez our software, even though they can't (because of the license key and encoding techniques). We may very well have been put out of business already had our software not been encoded. It's a double-edged sword I'm afraid.

Send an email to the sales address (sales@communityseo.com) requesting a demo copy and I'll try to put one together for you.

http://communityseo.com/demo/

I'm afraid we can't provide a demo copy of the software however.
