well, I'm building a community website actually, and I'd like to base it on Invision Power products : IP.Board, IP.Blogs, IP.Download and IP.Gallery.

I'd like to know what do you think about their "SEO" part : are they (enough) Search Engine Optimized ?

I've seen, for example, that pictures in the galleries are renamed, their path is not such good, their "alt" attribute is not good etc.
Example : http://example.com/gallery/1188218670/gall...2_17_385646.jpg is not a good name nor a good path to define what the picture is about.



So, again : are they (enough) Search Engine Optimized ?
Plus : what does CSEO adds to IP.Blogs, IP.Download and IP.Gallery ? (in terms of SEO)

That is the actual image itself - it's relatively hard to rename those because they are completely dynamic variables. Something to consider though.

The page the actual image is on is renamed. In blog and download manager it's similar - the page the actual content is on is renamed (as are categories in all of the above, and the blog container in blog).
