But so far i think i can spend $40 on taging system.

Now i will be starting to use IPB Portal in a few days. You can see it here:

1) how can i make that block? i will still be using standard tag page like http://communityseo.com/forums/tag-cloud.html but i really need this block on portal page, like you have on your index page http://communityseo.com/

in that forum user's ask question about mistey cartoon and when we find out what cartoon it is, we edit topic description in this form:

Originalan naziv: Vykrutasy

is it possible to automaticly make tag's with this? Ofc i need "Originalan naziv:" trimmed becouse tag i will be using for this topic is "Vykrutasy"... There is ~300 topic's so it will be very hard to edit them all...

3) is there a way to disable tag's for some forum's? What i need is tag system only for few forum's.

I can't remember now what else i would like to ask...

There is a block for the IPB portal included with the tag system you can use.



There is no automated way to set tags I'm afraid. By and large, any automated tagging system is both prone to failure and inaccurate, reducing the usefulness of the system as a whole. Thus, we decided against coding any sort of automated feature. That said, if you are good with SQL, all of the tags are stored in the database, so you might be able to put together some queries to do this for your own use.



Not built into the software, but it could easily be done with skin conditionals since the tagging system is "installed" by modifying your skin.
