Over the last few days you may have noticed that CommunitySEO was offline. This was a necessary step we had to take in order to ensure data integrity while we moved over to our new home.

We are now self-managing our own dedicated Windows 2003 server, and you will notice speeds are picking up quite nicely. With the new freedom we have in managing our own dedicated box we will be experimenting with some various settings on the box, however this should all be seamless to our visitors.

If you notice any glitches or problems following the move please don't hesitate to let us know. Otherwise, enjoy the new speeds!

Windows 0_0 I notice you have decent execution times and overall speeds for Windows

Server: Apache/2.2.4 (Win32) PHP/5.2.1
X-Powered-By: PHP/5.2.1

try out php 5.2.3 I believe 5.2.1 has a security bug and a uhh segfault bug and one of the 5x versions has better memory management I can't recall which.

Windows can be fast too - it's just a matter of running the right stuff.

5.2.x has the "better" memory management ("better" in quotes because it's a relative term). We don't frequently upgrade the software on the backend. About once every 6 months. Most of the security bugs in PHP are only exploitable if you have the right code executing on the server, which we hope is not the case lol.

Yeah really the only people that have to worry about security updates is free/large paid hosts.
