Hello there, I run an Invision forum with the Download Manager installed. My site gets about 500 unique visitors per day according to my Cpanel and Alexa ranks me 402,504 in traffic. I have heard about this software before and am now interested in purchasing. My questions are the following....
1) If I go for the 6 month license IPB SEO Module, and I dont see any real results to traffic increase, how hard will it be to uninstall from my website? 2) Again with the 6 month license, what exactly happens after the expiration? What steps do I need to take to make sure my site is functional? 3) If I get the 6 month and wish to then get the Perpetual, do you guys offer a step up price? 4) I read on your site about the Keyword Sniffer creating 3x more traffic to a site (http://communityseo.com/forums/Yet-another-product-coming-t5105.html), Would this work as a stand alone product without the IPB SEO Module? Or does it work better when combined with? Did the test site have the IPB SEO Module instaled at the time of this test? 5) When IPB goes to version 3, will you guys provide us an upgrade for that version of the IPB software? I think thats about it -Phillyman This post has been edited by Phillyman: Aug 11 2008, 10:36 AM |

The database changes can be uninstalled via the installer easily. You will just need to make a backup of the files that are modified, so that you can restore those files at a later date should you wish. 2) Again with the 6 month license, what exactly happens after the expiration? What steps do I need to take to make sure my site is functional? At the end of the expiration if the license is not renewed, CSEO will simply stop working, however this does not impair the rest of the site/IPB. Your forums would function as if CSEO were not installed. When you purchase a 6 month license a "subscription" is created in PayPal, which would automatically keep you renewed, so if you did not cancel the subscription, when your renewal fee is received a ping is sent to your site (if possible) and CSEO is updated automatically. Should the ping fail you'd just need to update the new license key. 3) If I get the 6 month and wish to then get the Perpetual, do you guys offer a step up price? We will generally allow you to pay the difference if you do so within 30 days. The site in question, I believe, does not even use IPB. I would let Dan answer that, however, as he ran those tests. 5) When IPB goes to version 3, will you guys provide us an upgrade for that version of the IPB software? Yes, we fully intend to provide an update for IPB3. We do not, as of yet, know what IPB3 is going to bring or how it will bring it, so we cannot comment on what the update will entail. |

When you say within 30 days, You mean after my 6 month license is expired you will "generally" let me step up if I do so within 30 days?

Sorry for the confusion.
What I mean is, upon purchasing the 6 month license, if you wish to upgrade it to Perpetual we will let you pay the difference between the 6 month and perpetual license if you do so within 30 days. If you wish, instead, to wait for your 6 month license to expire and THEN switch to perpetual, you can do so however it would be the full cost of the perpetual license at that time. We only allow "upgrading" of a license if it is done within the first 30 days (and it has to be done entirely manually - if that were an option for you you'd need to submit a ticket). |
